How long before case left NVC

We received one of the approval letter that said our case was sent on to consulate. When I called NVC to verify, they said they did not have record and from the first paragraph of our approval letter it meant the case was sent on to the US Embassy in London. USCIS said same thing. I hoped that was the case, but from reading input on VJ the case would be sent to NVC.....period. So I didn't call NVC yesterday and I called the Department of State today. The lady I spoke to there said she has no idea why they would tell me it would not go to NVC becasue they ALL do and she looked up our case by receipt number. She told me to call NVC back because it has been logged and they can now give me a case number. I called and got our case number but now I am wondering when our case will leave NVC and go to consulate. For those who have already been through this stage, how long did it take? From all the timelines I have looked at the turnaround seems very quick. I just don't want to get my hopes up. I would like to hear from those who have lived it. Thanks all.

Thank you! I have been told that after waiting for NOA2 this wait is not bad at all. I am just so ready to start finalizing some plans and see my sweetie! :)
