Hello vj friends I want to no if anybody knows what "supervisory review" means? My petition was sent back for review about 6 months ago, yesterday I inquired about it and was sent an email stating that it was now in supervisory review. What does that mean? Back in Nov when I inquired about it I was told that I would recieve NOA in 45 days, now that the 45 days have passed they tell me about another review. I don't understand.

Usually when the petition is returned it is reviewed by an agent. It seems there is some point of your case that made the reviewer think they needed a second opinion to make sure the "ruling" is correct. This is probably a good sign. It means that your petition is probably nearing the end of the review and that it will have an upper level employee making the final decision. Hopefully they decide to reaffirm the petition.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

That is a good thing. Finally, you at least have some answers about your petition. God bless and may your VJ come to a happy ending soon. I know how hard this year has been for you.
