Ok bunch of questions about interview for husb.

What papers, will they ask for, do they need originals ? I think i have most of them here, or i sent with our papers. I think i heard that they will give me back all the papers in a sealed envelope or something that he has to bring them to the appt un-opened?

Also will we need to give them any more passport pictures?? Or will he need to bring to the interview??

should he bring stuff with him to interview like....

photos of us together,

phone records of our long talks daily

pictures of us and kids?

any other tips.

married 2006 in jordan *we both live there

2008 had twins *delivered in usa and back to jordan with hubby*

2-2011 i came back to usa with my 3 yr old twins due to one of them needing treatment for severe sleep apnea

7-4-2012 filed I-130

12-?-2012 i-130 approved. (saw online, still waiting hard copy)

1-16-2012 called NVC they have appointed case number

1-19-2012 received email for DS-3032 to hubby

1-19-2012 mailed Ds-3032 from hubbys email

1-19-2012 received automatic response from NVC *received*

1-23-2012 received email stating DS-3032 was accepted. :)

3-07-2012 Paid AOS & IV fee online

3-09-2012 AOS & IV fee shows "PAID"

Hey Kristen,

The guides linked above are a great place to start.

I would definately say that he should have as many pics of you guys together as possible along with pics of you and his family if you have them.

Y had copies of emails, letters via mail, phone bills and any other correspondense proof that we had. Anything to prove that you guys communicate daily or however often that you do and pics, pics, pics! :)

We also had letters from his mom and from my family saying how happy they were for us ect ect.

We had no problems with the Amman and they were very helpful to me when I had questions early on.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
