Hi,

I was wondering if it would be acceptable by the NVC/MONTREAL; if I provided them with the police clearance letter from Toronto Police service, as they use the RCMP search system. This is for my DS-260; my wife is applying for my immigration and I am Canadian that resides in Toronto.

Thank you and please reply with any input.

Happy new years :)

And you didn't have any problems in Montreal?

My wife got it in Toronto and there were no issues at all either at NVC stage or in Montreal.

The only issue with Canadian PCC - its size , so for converting it to .pdf file I had to use some real software (like Foxit Phantom) to have it in one page and complete.

Yes, this is fine. The clearance has to state that a cross Canada check has been done, and by consulting the National database kept by the RCMP that is what they are doing. You should have no problems.
