Hi my wife even she never really stayed in UK for more than 4 months each time she went for short english language program, she just felt concerned and went and sent off an application to get a UK police certificate recently to bring for interview to just be safe.

we are still waiting on it, but I found out that she sent a US sized passport photo instead. I wonder if any of you who applied for the ACRO / ACPO report ever got the certificate with a US size passport photo or

was it rejected?

I am sure many of you read the instructions carefully though. She had put no expedite options for mail, so it will be standard air mail, how is it sent? in a flat envelope or just a normal letter envelope? so she can keep an eye out for it.

A visa applicant who has resided in the United Kingdom for 6 months or more since the age of 16, is required to obtain a police certificate from the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO). therefore your fiancee does not require one from the UK.

Yeah, but it was her idea and she already sent application, so I was wondering if they will reject the photo and she lost money.

Iknow that they scan the photo and apply it to the certificate so it shouldnt be a problem. However your money is lost effectively as its not required.

Well she lost her expired passport with the UK stamps and on the I 130 and ds 230 I put the school she went to and the period of 2002 to 2010 under education. It might confuse the vo?

I never got any rfe from nvc for either I 130 and ds230 for it though. But just wondered if they may want to ask anyway at interview since she not keep her old records.
