Islamabad Wife Interview Prep/Advice

Hello all,

Other than the most obvious suggestions?

1. Take copies of all documents sent to NVC and updated Tax Returns if applicable?

2. Lots of proof of relationship such as emails, call logs, photo albums etc

3. Practicing interview questions listed on this site: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_bring_your_foreign_spouse_to_live_in_the_US#Attachment_5_.E2.80.93_Interview_Questions

4. coming early, coming prepared and sounding confident

Any advice or any anomalies that we should be careful or worried about? to obviously prevent the dreaded AP process!

Does everyone go through name checks after? before getting visa approval for CR-1? is there a way to speed that up?

It sounds like you have it covered. Just be sure she knows EVERYTHING about you, job, pay, your address, friends, everything ..if you've been married before make sure she knows everything about the previous marriage why you got divorced and even about your ex and your children if you have any....if you havent been married before then no worries there. There is no way to avoid AP if they put her in it. No way to speed it up believe me if i could i would been there 6 1/2 months!! BOO... It used to be that women didnt get AP after their interview and chances are she may not as well but recently they have been putting more women thru longer AP's too. Just pray that her visa can be issued pretty soon after interview... Good luck and Happy New year!
