hi guys! I just recently paid off the AOS fee and the visa processing fee. now in the webpage which i made the online payment and it says "each applicant must next submit a visa application with supporting documents". now my questions are

1. What is the next step for my kid and wife's visa? (i know it says on that webpage that they must submit a visa application with documents but it is also stated at nvc's website that do not submit documents unless you have notice to avoid delays)

2. I called the nvc because I'm trying to make an online payment for my kid's AOS fee and visa processing fee and he said that the payment that I made for my wife covers my kid too because I am a u.s citizen. is that true? because I cannot access my kid's case number online.

3. If we gathered all the documents that is needed for the process, can we submit those online?

4. And what do I need to do to register my wife and kid to CEAC thingy? (they are from the philippines)

and if somebody can walk me step by step through this process and tell me the stuff that i need because the nvc operators are not that friendly lol

1. The most important thing is to follow EXACTLY the instructions in the email sent by NVC. Are you the designated agent of choice ? The agent of choice receives all communication from NVC.

2. Each intending immigrant must pay the fee (in your case one each for your wife & kid)

3. Phils. is not in the list of countries eligible for online document upload.

4. What were the instructions for CEAC ? In my case I did not receive instructions to use this facility.

5. Read here for the step by step process: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/NVC_Process_Flowchart_v1-2.pdf

Thank u mellow for the response, the thing is I am only getting the notifications via email which I prefer. I havent got any yet from the mail and so as my father (my previous mailing address). I just got back from deployment so I just changed my address. the one that I got in the email says that I need to pay the aos fee which I already did and in the online payment page there is also a visa processing fee which I already paid too. can I just fill the ds3032 form and submit it or is there a way that we can send that through email? And another thing is when I called the nvc the operator told me that I dont have to pay for my son's fee since I am an american citizen and I already paid for my wife's fee. And last question, can I just submit the documents and follow the chart even if I dont have notice from them? I really appreciate it

In my case I printed the ds3032, filled it up and signed it. Then I scanned it and emailed it to NVC. They will email you if they received it.

Ok since you're already a US citizen it means your kid is automatically a US citizen too that's why you don't have to pay for him.

No you cannot go to the next step if you have not received instructions because you will need the bar code that comes with the next steps.

Just wait patiently. It shouldn't take long. Good luck.

oh ok, thanks man. i was just freaking out because i haven't got any mail yet. i think my wife needs to submit that ds3032 before i get mail. i cant fill up that form right? i'm the petitioner

Yes your wife should fill it up. But if you choose to be the agent of choice (AOC) she has to choose that from the list in the form. Then the AOC will receive all communication thereafter.

when you paid your AOS bill and IV bill online you should have seen a link that states "print cover sheet". with that sheet you can fill out the DS-230 forms for your family and mail to NVC. if you wait for NVC to send you those documents ity takes forever; 6weeks or more. Go through the guide for the visa category ( which I am assuming is IR-1?) you filed for and once you have the documents:

marriage certificates, divorce cert(if applicable), passport photos, birth certficicate of petitioner and beneficiary etc...

all these doc are needed in originals and copies( DNT SEND beneficiary original passport, just copy of biographic page). then print the cover sheet from the online site where you made payment and place it infron of your package then mail to the NVC address on the cover sheet

how old is your son and were you alreadya USC when he was born....It seems the previous post states you dnt need to pay for him it all depends on your status when he was born cos that may mean he automatically received citizenship from you...verify to be sure
