I wanted to share some of the odd things my wife does. Share some of your stories.

1. Sweeps the carpet with her small straw broom.

2. Caught her cleaning the bath tub with a toilet brush.

3. When taking pictures never a pic taken with 3 people.

4. Refuses to use our brand new dishwasher. Most of our dishes are cleaned in cold water with extreme amounts of dish soap.

5. Our son uses a bucket in the shower and doesn't turn on the shower head.

6. Cleans her teeth before she eats, not after.

7. When buying pants she measures the waist with her neck. Never seen this done before.

8. Rarely likes to put food in the icebox after she cooks.

9. Uses msg and sugar like it's going out of style."Guess she doesn't want me around for too long...lol"

10.Likes to squat on a chair instead of sitting while we eat dinner.

Despite all what I describe, I wouldn't change a thing and love her so much!!!!

haha I think this is really cute. A nice way to be aware of how life is different other places in the world and a good reminder not to take our luxuries for granted! Wonderful and glad you wouldn't change a thing. :)

Awwww. Your post is so cute. I don't think not using the dishwasher is an odd thing though lol. I don't use it myself.

My husband finds it strange that I insist that he sleep on the side of the bed closest to the door. I grew up hearing that in the event of a break-in the husband can defend his wife.

I like to keep every door and window locked. He hates using a key to get in the house.

I think everything should be made from scratch and my husband uses a lot of shortcuts like canned foods and stuff...

I like to sleep far away from the door as possible, but for no reason, just makes me more comfortable! I also lock doors when I come through them! I started doing it at my parent's house too and it annoyed them so much! haha! I often locked them out by mistake! I think my quirks just come from paranoia in general! lol!

1. My fiancee measures pants using her neck as well:)

2. Always uses cold water when showering..........never hot.

3. Squats on the kitchen chair when eating all meals. (Unless she hears her father coming, then down come the feet lol).

4. When driving, she will answer her cell phone only to say "I'm driving! Call back later." And then hangs up....she considers it impolite not to answer the phone.

5. Never wears sunglasses.

6. She uses plastic bags for everything!

7. Wears long sleeve shirts, jeans, and uses an umbrella to go to town in the daylight. She doesn't want her skin to become dark.

8. Always shoes off when entering the house.

She's adorable and I wouldn't want her any other way:) She definitely is my true love!

My wife covers up too, doesn't want to get dark either , even though I like it. Shoe's off before entering house too. She will never sit next to another male either, she will put me in between them. Didn't like sitting in the middle during cab or van rides.

Had to convince her to wear sunglasses, spent a lot of money here in the states on surgery to clear up the scar tissues built up on her eyes from over exposure to sun and wind.

Yes I will admit I'm paranoid lol but I grew up with burglar bars on every window and at every entrance and exit of my house. Everybody's house had burglar bars.

Trust me when I found out that burglars were opening garages to get in people's houses here I was on edge for a couple of weeks.

I measure pants by neck because your neck width around is the SAME as your HIPS! IF you do not want to try on the pants wrap the waist around your neck and it will fit you. It ALWAYS works. I have never had a pair of pants that do not fit me when measuring them this way.

I'm from Canada too not a far off country or anything.

Wow my wife will never sit next to another male as well, unless it's a family member only. Interesting about the scarring built up on her eyes. Once she is here, I will have her eyes checked for that since she can't see when driving at night. I did buy her prescription eyeglasses for night driving. Thanks for the info.

These are visible scars, they look like someone scraped her eyes with a stick. I had the right eye fixed but still needs surgery on the left but doesn't want to take any time off from work. She works 7 days a week and never once complains.
