He may be the only guy left that could make a difference but I doubt the Republicans will allow him to be nominated.

When was the last time the Republican that won the Iowa caucus actually nominated? It does not strike me as a particularly important event BUT they do spend many millions on advertising and pouring money into campign funds and that IS the point.

But when was the last time the eventual nominee didn't at least have a showing in Iowa? I don't really know the answer but the point is that while Iowa doesn't tell you who will win, it probably does a lot to tell you who won't.
