I have posted a little about this over the last week....

On 21 December I contacted the military help line, requested my case to be expedited due to military deployment. I was told I would be contacted w/in 5 days to get more information concerning my deployment.

On 21 December got an email requesting additional information concerning my divorce (needed the whole divorce decree not just the final judgment I sent). The email did not request any information concerning my request for the case to be expedited.

On 27 December I faxed a certified copy of my divorce decree (as requested via fax or mail) and it was requested that on the cover letter I add “Attention: Officer [name]. I did all as asked. I also faxed a letter from my commander concerning my deployment (I will not get orders until about 14 days, if that, before the deployment) just in case.

On 29 December I just called the help line, spoke to a representative and she took all my information again and gave me a new number (starts with T), I’m not sure what is going on concerning my request to expedite my case? It seems like the email on the 21st would have been more concerned with my expedite request then my divorce decree or it would have at a minimum covered both topics…

Any thoughts on this situation?

You have to get a response specifically about the military expedite request like i had said in your other post you made.

We went through this and got a specific letter requesting very specific documents from the military about my husbands deployment for our military expedite request.

It does not sound like your request is being considered or entered in the system properly.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

How long after your request did you get a specific letter for consideration of your request? That is my main concern, why no email, letter, nothing concerning my request? But something about my divorce.... Seems a little off or backwards to me. Seems like letter requesting information about my expedite request, I send them documents, they approve (hope), then letter concerning my divorce. Just seems like things are a little off somehow.

Thanks for the replys by the way.

5 days after calling them we got the letter in the mail. It all happened VERY quickly and before we could even send the letter back our case was approved and sent to the NVC.

To me it sounds like they are dragging their feet with your case which does not make sense.

lol, have never been real lucky that is why I'm trying to stay on top of this, I have given consideration to the holidays, however as I'm sure you are aware time is critical in situations like this.

I have been reading on this site some very sad situations regarding requests to have cases expedited, only to have them rejected. Everyday I feel fortunate to be in the military and be able to get the possible benifits of having my case expedited. Having said that I hope people see that while my case may get expedited, in May I will be leaving the country for 6 months and still be away from my spouse, so it is a give and take.

Email reply:

"Your case has been assigned to an adjudicating officer. You should receive a notice of action within 30 days. A notice of action may be in the form of approval notice, denial notice, transfer notice, requet for evidence, notice of intent to deny or intent to revoke."

Just wait and see now I guess.
