Yes, fiance had interview to be exact July 13th but to this date haven't received a single thing, no email, letters nothing. I do call every week (USCIS) and same thing, simply to wait and wait. Supposedly 1/22/12 will be the date of expiration but I have hard it could be extended but do not know who and how to extend it. I was curious because one of my friends had her interview (fiance) 2 weeks after and SHE DID get letter stating it was expired, so why did hers (theirs) expire and mine didn't. Again, they were interviewed 2 weeks after, I don't understand this. As far as correcting this Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID), how is it possible to correct it when they simply either tell you it's expired or denied, no other explanation...I am really concerned because if nothing else I am planning on going to Morocco and doing the exact same thing you did, marrying him but again, the issue is to CORRECT reasons but what reasons if they do not either tell you or mail explanations...

Listen, I just went back and read your story of the interview and can see it is too similar to mine and others on VJ with the consulate handing the white paper, siting the code and telling us it needs to go back to USCIS...but the exception is you have yet to receive the expired letter from USICS. YOU BEING ON HERE LONG ENOUGH AND EMPOWERING YOUR SELF WITH KNOWLEDGE PROBABLY KNOW BY NOW WHAT YOU NEED TO DO. Dont wait, you love each other, get married, and work on the papers and proof. Assuming you have no real red flags that you can think of...Right? The air flights are lowest at this time, it is worth your love....if your cant extend or appeal, I would fly after the 22nd!!

And you say "if nothing else you will go to Morrocco and marry".... look at it what a blessing that would be!!!! SMILE.

Stay in touch please if I can help...?

Our resources were middle of the road no Lawyer or assistance....We got through all the paperwork in Morocco fairly easy!!! In fact my husband and I still laugh about the adventure it was together! :D

1. During your interview? Can the spouse be there? I was going to be in Morocco for his interview but assumed I would have to wait outside across the street at the CAFE. You were blessed.

2. I did send the sole owner ship of real estate, paid out car, funds in bank and assets etc...but not the return taxes being my EX always filed me as a dependent up until the last year of our divorce. So I assumed with my mother as a co sponsor, if i am not sufficient according to the 1040, then she would qualify.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with me

I was not in Morocco during his interview. I was called at work from the CO and questioned over the phone. It's rare but glad it happened. You can go to Morocco if you want and wait across the street where you stated. Unless the CO wants to speak with you they will advise your fiance during his interview.

Husband...hahaha Thank you for being on here and continue to help others. I know I greatly appreciate it. I am determined not to let things happen as it did with the Fiance interview

You two indeed are very blessed :star:
