Sure, why not. I voted for Jesse Jackson when he ran. Who would have been easier to beat?

If the politcal parties are going to be so stupid, lazy and parasitic to have primary elections and make us pay for them, then why not use it against them?

In the old days they just had their conventions, picked their guy and said "here is our guy" That was fine until Nixon lost to Kennedy by a nose (pardon the pun) and then the Repubs decided to have primary popularity contests to allow the voters to pick a more likely winner. They got Goldwater.

Not to be deterred because they can gather more donations, the Dems started the same thing. But nowadays they have tired of the voters actually getting to choose the candidate, but still like the donations, and given recent legislation, NEED the donations. So they continue this charade. If you have not noticed it yet, Republicans are being FED Mitt Romney, whether they like it or not. The party has made its choice and just wants to make sure you agree with them. They will destroy anyone else that is really a challenger.

I have no idea why these silly elections have been tolerated for so long by PEOPLE, it is no secret why the parties have them. $$$ Cha-ching!
