I like Santorum ok but he needs to gain a more "cool" relaxed temperament in debates.

His downside is he is a little too Hawkish for my taste.

Actually, I am surprised to hear so many big names on the Right bashing newt and going Romney.

Rather than support Mit, I would rather see Obama go another 4 years with no House no Senate no hope of getting any of his agenda through...hey, it's Cheap entertainment, I'll take it.

There wouldn't be 4 years with Obama as President and the GOP holding the House and Senate. There would be stalemate for 2 years with Obama positioning himself with the people while Republicans would continue to position themselves with the wealthy. Come 2014, the GOP would be out of fashion for some time to come. That is assuming that the GOP will conquer both chambers of Congress next year. Might happen. And it might not. The Republicans have been outmaneuvered politically by the administration as of late. I don't see that changing next year. They're playing checkers while Obama is playing chess.

Are you effin' kidding me? Gingrich is the biggest political suck up to ever walk the earth. EVER. He has NO principals, in his personal or public life. He is a good schmoozer and that is all. I do not rule out that he is intelligent and could whip about anyone in a debate...if we steer clear of certain things. I would sure like to know WHAT he advised Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to do for $1.6 million.

It really will not matter what happens now as there are no other candidates that will change anything other than the letter behind the name. What happened to ANYONE speaking of changing the tax system since Cain was run off? That vanished, didn't it? When he was in the race, they ALL had a tax overhaul plan. This means nothing else can ever get done because politicians will do nothing but deabte their manipulative tax schemes, kicking the can down the road 2 months at a time.

It also means things have not gotten bad enough for people to wake up yet

I have to say, the only thing I like about Santorum is that he gives the guys on SNL plenty of material. Come to think of it, all the candidates have this year, even Obama. They need to keep being rediculous so I can enjoy my Saturday night TV.

Santorum is probably a really nice guy. He seems sincere in his family values and I believe he is an honest and loyal man. I could go pheasant hunting with him.

I do not think he would make a good President.

That reminds me of that bs line the media likes to throw around about whether you'd like to have a beer with someone running for office. Maybe I would, but ####### does that have anything to do with it?

I don't drink beer but I would have a sugar free lemonade with him, basically water with a lemon squeezed in it.

I am choosy about who I spend time around when they have loaded guns. ####### Cheney's friend should have been more choosy. I saw Santorum in a clip hunting pheasant. He is comfortable and confident with his gun. I can spot that a mile away (which is why Kerry had someone else carry his gun for him when he did his "hunting photo op", any real gun enthusiast would spot that phoney immediately)

This means he is generally a good guy, honest, wouldn't steal from you or hurt you (unless he had to) But it does not make him a good president.
