Hi,

I am looking at filing for my AOS and I know that we will have to move states before it is completed (my husband is in the military and is currently TDY till March). Should we just wait on filing the AOS or is the system set up to support moving mid stream?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Moving during the process is risky but totally possible. You need to do the AR-11 online and also mail it. You should also call about a week later and make sure the system has been updated with your new address. Also have a rough idea of what you're waiting on and what the timeline is for that so if you don't hear anything you follow it up with a phonecall.
