Can you imagine the quantities of Kool Aid one would have to drink to see this as anything other than it is.

You gotta be drinking something much heavier to relate the business decision made by Sears Holdings Corp somehow to the Obama administration. But if that's what you want to do, it may be worth looking at all the retailers many of which have expanded the number of stores. There are a lot of those. And a lot of new stores all over the place. Sears Holdings didn't do so well. It's what happens to some companies in a competitive environment - they lose. Overall, retail did extremely well this holiday season. If Sears and Kmart didn't manage to cash in on the overall 3.8% rise in holiday consumer spending, then that's hardly the fault of the administration. But keep chugging whatever it is you're drinking.

Lowe's maybe? Closed something like 40 stores.

They closed 20 and opened 25. That's a net gain of 5 stores.

Instead of a net 25. WOW! Obama wins! 1/5th the planned growth.

You are in denial.

That is in addition to the 20+ they closed before October 17. They have closed 40+ stores in 2011.

You're in denial if you believe that the administration is somehow responsible for underperforming stores in an overall improving retail sector. Where are the good old days when business leaders were responsible for the performance of their businesses?

Prove it!

Gary also blamed Obama for global food prices increasing 26% this year.

Remember his top 10 list. "Food prices up 26%" made #9 on his list.

See link, according to Gary, it is Obama's fault: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-14835265

I didn't talk bailouts and Bush was an idiot, but he didn't have or ask Wagoner to be replaced; that badge of honor belongs to BO.

Bush I believe signed the bailout, but didn't ask or want them to be bailed out.

It's all proof for the law of cause and effect.

- Had we not abolished slavery, we would not need illegal immigrant labor today.

- Had we left Hitler alone, we would not have a Middle East problem today, and most likely 9/11 would have never happened.

- Had we not have war lords controlling U.S. politics, but pacifists, and had we spent that money on infrastructure, education, health care, the economy instead, the U.S would still be number 1 in the world in about everything.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.
