Hi everyone!

I have been researching USCIS website, but have not found it to be too helpful in this.

My mother-in-law has a 10 year tourist visa (for 2 years now). My husband is now a citizen of the U.S.; how do we apply for a green card for my mother-in-law, so she can come live with us?

Also, what forms are needed and does anyone know approximately how long immigration is taking on family member visas?

Thanks...as always! You are a great source of info....

We've a Guide for that, I swear.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Thank you for your quick responses!

I found the section on the USCIS; according to the I-130 instructions all we need to submit is the following:

1. Copy of my husbands Cert. of Nationality and passport

2. Copy of my husbands birth certificate showing her as his mother.

3. The $420 filing fee

Is there anything else I should include?

Thanks SOOO Much!

Yvette
