Hello everyone,

Was wondering when I first sent a message when coming aboard VJ a few replied back to me referring to me as a guy and couldnt figure out why, thought they were just being silly so didnt bother correct them, especially since I said in my first few messages my fiance not fiancee. Since not computer literate was poking around in the settings, etc. and happened to scroll down and saw male.. was like WHAT!!!?? have no idea how didnt see that before when entering the few information that I did enter when signing up for VJ, know that day was very excited about joining the many on the journey.

Have to get the hang of computers really do because notice some mentioning about moving something to a different forum, have trouble trying to make replies which think have that down now.. also notice them mention about mediators not sure understand what role they play, are they in charge of forums or something?

Everyone have a nice day and hoping more good news keeps coming for everyone.

That will be like the BEST!!! day ever, ever!!! my dreamcometrue4 us.

Have you looked at the paperwork involved (thread in my signature). Also the fee of $1070 (currently... will probably go up one of these days).

Being together while processing though makes a HUGE difference :D

I think it was okay on this board. It was happened several times. I remember one VJ'er calling someone here as 'her' and I was like," I saw his profile and why she did not bother to see all info on it and make assumed it was 'her' specially when reading all the threads and easy to tell it's a male petitioner". But again, many people do not put right info or forget to do that. Merry Christmas to you and everyone's here.star_smile.gif

Some people (like me) don't bother checking profiles unless they have to. Also, some people (again like me) have signatures blocked because some people have obnoxiously large signatures. If I want to see them I go to the profile. There is one poster in particular who noticed that I kept referring to "her" as a him and they couldn't understand why I didn't notice their signature said they were the female.. until they saw a post (similar to this one) where I mention I have sigs blocked.

p.s. Moderators (Mod's) and organisers help keep the forum somewhat organised (I say somewhat because it's hard to keep up I'm sure!). The mods are in charge of making sure people who breach the Terms of Service (TOS) are properly punished. They can also remove bad posts, block people from threads, and can also move, merge, delete/hide, close and reopen topics. Organisers can move topics from forum to forum (that is all).

Yep, me too. I am very rarely checked into people's profile as well unless I saw they have checked mine. But, again, not everyone following all posts here which is I do understand if they can't tell if it's a male or female. Personally, if I do not know who they are, I would not going to referring someone here as "her" or "him". I always refer them as "the OP" to make it more sounds fair.

Don't usually look at their profiles, unless I am really trying to figure out who they are, because their time-line etc is not complete. Its really hard to give the best advise you can without a clear picture. OP good idea.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

I hope if you are female and you are engaged that you are still referring to your fiance as fiance. Fiance refers to a male who is engaged to be married. Maybe I misread what you wrote, but the good news is you have now made it clear you are female and not male.
