I did something slightly similar to my wife of two months. I told her I'd take her clothes shopping for Christmas. What ever she wanted she could buy. Now that might be something nice to do, but its not exactly the same as a Christmas gift under the tree. The secret was I had a Christmas gift ready for her for on Christmas eve which she wasn't expecting. Turns out she was getting all sad when Christmas eve began in the Philippines, so she got her's a day earlier than she expected. She cried to because she wasn't expecting it plus it was the perfect pick me up just as she was getting hit with a wave of homesickness. It was not an expensive gift at all, but it did show how much I know and understand her, which is one of the biggest presents you can give someone.

But that is exactly how jrmeila operates...

Usually he makes the Filipino female appear to be insensitive, stupid or just plain mean then after everyone calls him on it he changes the story 27 times and finally he "reveals" that it was all just a heat induced dream caused by him sleeping in just shorts with the window open during the winter months...

I don't think you were active on VJ during Junior's ...tour. He's a "mystic".

I kinda hope he sticks around and starts more threads. He's loads of fun fun fun. Solving his riddles is very ....hmmmm....captivating.

His threads might even draw a little more attention than yours. If so...will you be jealous?

actually, I was. I learned the one-liners or ambiguous enigma as they might be called need to be left alone for a while. the person posting them likes playing riddles. I like puzzles, but not playing with people feelings or emotions. I am just a few weeks shy of a year on VJ. September through November I took time off to deal with Asawa ko. Now I am spending a little time here helping others as well as continue to learn. (plus right now is slow at work) We are heading into our 3rd week of marriage. gretchen cried a lot Christmas Eve night beause of missing midnight mass and homesickness. My christmas present to her was letting her talk to her family as much as she wanted on the phone Christmas day. It was only an hour. But she was so happy to talk with them. I am trying to find an unlimited plan to allow her to talk back home.
