How about when I go back to school ?? I have a student ID (which is my Canadian Social) on file with my former schools.I was out of status and had no social. Now that I have one and its under a new name (my married name ) do you think this will create a confusion ? I would like to return to school to finish my degree.Would it be possible to keep my maiden name even though my social will be under my married name ? Or can I just carry around my marriage certificate for verification?

I believe that would be up to your school.
