I'm telling you, come January 4th, the nation will be singing a different tune.

Wrong.

I'd bet with confidence that he will finish in about 4th place after all is said and done. Even if he won (he won't) - he would be decimated by Obama. Maybe win 1 to 4 states that don't matter - if lucky.

To send you back into reality. Here is how he did in 2008:

A little better than Thompson despite Thompson dropping out in month 1. They both came in first place 0 times....The second column is second place wins, and the third column is third place wins...

2008 was a different election. Look how well Obama did. What are his approval ratings now?

You can't use numbers from 2008 to predict what'll happen in 2012.

I did exactly that to predict Romney would win in 2012. What do you say to that?

It wasn't much of a prediction. Everyone knew Romney was running in 12 and would do much better the second go round.

So you voting for Romney when he wins or staying home?

On paper, libertarianism if fantastic. Let the government stay out of our lives, only intervene where it is really absolutely necessary. Let any of the 50 states decide on how they want to handle certain issue pertaining their people. Who wouldn't agree with that?

Here's my problem with that. Let's take education, for example. If the federal government stays out of this, children in Texas learn what's in the Bible, that the Earth is about 5,000 years old and at that time dinosaurs and humans lived happily together on Earth. Evolution is nonsense, 'cause fish don't have legs.

While I can only smile about this, it's really not fair to the children. So what should they and their parents do? Move to another state?

What about those who have a Texas High School diploma then. They can't enroll in one of the institutions of higher education outside of Texas because they lack the fundamentals of a real education? See where I'm going with this?

There are a few things where the government needs to provide the ground rules, and if Ron Paul has a say in this, we will take a serious step back into time. Business owners can put "Whites Only" signs back in their windows, in some states women will be prosecuted for murder because they took "Plan B" one day after getting knocked up by a gang banger, in other states gays will face prosecution while illegal immigrants will be shot on sight. Come on, I mean seriously, while I applaud Ron Paul for wanting to get the heck out of all those wars and stop policing every damn country in this world, some of his proposals are just not viable in real life.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

...and in other states, you may get prosecuted because your recent erection didn't result in procreation. Remember, once the nuts hammer into law that live begins at conception, their next fight will be to move the needle up just a tad to where life begins at erection.

If he's on a ballot, I will probably vote for Ron Paul.

if he's on the ballot, Obama loses guaranteed. The mainstream media told us so last night when they said that most of the people voting for Ron Paul were independents and Democrats who were disappointed in the President!

So, in essence, the Republicans rather give Obama another term than ensuring his defeat by nominating Ron Paul. Excellent!

Romney won't win in 2012. He is the R version of Obamacare. He can't win on that. He keeps acting like it's something we want. It's not.

Have you ever heard of accreditation? Happens all the time with foreign diplomas. I don't see why it can't work with state to state diplomas as well.

By the way... it's a private business.

Lets take the "whites only" signs into account. In this day and age, do you really think a business that puts up a sign that says "whites only" will do well?

What people don't realize is Ron Paul doesn't advocate making things mandatory. He advocates the absence of government in making things equal. When there is no artificial equalizer, things are, well, equal.

if he's on the ballot, Obama loses guaranteed. The mainstream media told us so last night when they said that most of the people voting for Ron Paul were independents and Democrats who were disappointed in the President!

Exactly.

There's only one candidate out there advocating "hope and change."
