Agreed there's a lot of wingnuts out there who have it in for Obama because of his race. You pointed them out with that post, but on another note those people are the minority. They made a play including Donald Trump and they got called out for the wingnuts that they are.

Not that I know of. I do know plenty of guys that were fckd by affirmative action though. Guys that had 10x's the skills and experience who got screwed just because they were white guys.

I don't think Condy would have thought those racist cartoons were silly, but you're right. There wasn't the racial controversy surrounding her as there is around Obama. I think that's partially because he's the president! I don't see a whole lot of attention paid to what Hillary's doing either. Not that their job isn't important, just that we don't hear about it on a daily basis and it's not shoved down our throats by the media. Would it happen if she were president? I couldn't say.

Google "alaska native hire law". That's just one example. They hire natives up here who for the most part do nothing other than suck up the oxygen. Jobs that are suppose to require skills, decent work ethic...English language etc... but this nifty Alaska Native Hire policy is just too good to not witness it for yourself. My wife is experiencing it atm working at a BIA hospital. She is like "#######?" every night she comes home. She says she's seen door knobs with more on the ball than what they have working at that native hospital.

Funny thing is she's been in this country less than two years, English is her third language and she speaks and writes it better than most of those 250+lb natives she works with.

That's the downside of union and government jobs, even large companies with more than 100 employees. The trade unions go gaga every four years around here recruiting among the minorities because the most of the rank and file don't vote Democrat and they can't meet their quota, even in Liberal California. It seems it's always the same five folks that are standing on picket lines, or manning on the phone banks, or becoming officers, because they are always hanging around the union hall. The qualified guys that seem to keep a job, and move right onto the next one, either don't care, or don't have the time.

- Can you name another recent candidate with the same parentage? John McCain underwent scrutiny do to being born in the Panama canal region. (was that racist?

-Cartoon on the WWW are not proof of anything.

-Obama lived in a Muslim country and went to a School which gave Muslim instruction, questions about his faith spring from these type things not race. Are the questions about Mits Mormonism or Kennedy's Catholicism racist as well or does the racists angle only come in when the skin is darker?

It seems people go to pretty great effort to avoid comments which "could" be viewed as racially tinged.
