Hello all,

I'm American and will be filing for my Filipina Fiance within the next few months.

I've been in & out of the Philippines multiple times over the last 3 years visiting & living with her and it's now time to take her to the USA. :)

My question is this: At any time in the K1 process will I need to provide Xerox copies of ALL pages and/or stamps in my US Passport, or will I just need to show the last stamp showing my most recent departure from the Philippines?

I am sure that the more stamps & visits I show, it will help show how often we were together and for how long, etc...but if there is a page or two "missing" from the Xerox copies, is it a big deal?

My understanding is that they just want proof (Passport Stamp & Airline Tickets) that I saw her within the last 2 years, or more ideally, within the last 12 months. Correct???

Thanks for any help or advice you have. :)

If you provide your Birth Certificate for your proof of citizenship, then you can just show your bio page of your passport and your stamps. Show all stamps that correspond to dates that you visited your fiancee.

Good luck with the process!!! :)

Thanks for the rapid replies. :)

Sooo....no problem with the Birth Certificate and Bio page of Passport.

I'm just wondering if there will be any problem with a missing page of stamps. Sometimes Immigration skips a page or two anyways and the pages are blank or not in order.

I just need to know if the Embassy will start asking questions if ALL of the pages are not there in correct sequence, or are they just more concerned with the proof of my last visit, i.e., the last time she saw me.

If you are going to put copies of your passport in your packet for evidence, put copies of ALL pages in there. Its only a few pieces of paper no big deal. Having more evidence then they need to approve everything is a ton better than falling short.

I'd recommend copies of your passport from bio page and all the way through. In the instructions (3 D) it says all copies of the passport.

An unexpired passport(validity with 5 years or more) is also accepted as proof of being USC.

I personally did all pages from back to front.

But the instructions refer to all pages if you use it as proof of citizenship. Several members have mentioned that they provided their Birth Certificate for the proof of citizenship, and only the bio page and stamps for the primary evidence of having met in person....without any RFEs.

It's up to you really, with what will make you feel safer.

I did all of my pages on photo grade paper and I included a copy of my birth certificate. There are markings in the background of the page that prove which page is in what order, if they didn't match up correctly, then they could ask questions or even ask to see the physical passport. Do the best you can and avoid delays. :) I also used a service that was rather inexpensive to help fill out the paperwork and it was well worth the few hundred dollars just to make sure it was right and have someone else look over it. If you are ready to file the paperwork, get it done ASAP, the waiting and delays can be tough as time goes on.

Proof that you met at least once during the last two years.......but you may want to include the proofs of all those other meeting to front load your petition so that when it gets to the Embassy they can see you have the semblence of a relationship.

Hi everyone,

My fiance put the copy of his birth certificat front and back as proof of citizenship.

For the proof of meetings in person, he added the copies of the passeport pages with the stamps on it.

I think we're ok because I think they never ask for the bio pages too...

My American Fianceé DIDN'T include her photo page, but I (foreign fiance) did. We got our NOA2 on Dec. 5th with NO RFE.
