My greeting was "bad day huh?". I had injured myself on the trip there, including being over an hour late for my interview (which meant emailing the consulate to beg ask to proceed with the interview when I eventually arrived). Lol. It was all uphill from there!

dang ,guess its a sign of the times.I wasnt there(i couldnt be not during hoilday season my job wouldnt allow) my spouse stated it was very sarcastic and made him feel uncomfortable.this is a new process and a big eye opener for me .Not like just tieing the knot in vagas and plowing forword with your marriage ,you have to be really dedicated to your other half to endure this process.

It's more helpful if you actually type a reply instead of just repeating the previous post without comment.

Yes, PushB, good call. The OP, seems to keep going round and round, and not settling on a plan to move on.

It seems she has all the info she needs to move on to her next step.

Maybe this thread needs to be closed because anything more seems like trolling bait.......

The US Constitution is silent on marriage for two reasons. The first reason is that marriage is not a Federal issue, and the second, more important, is that marriage was not a matter for government at all when the Constitution was written.

Marriage predates the Constitution. Marriage was around for thousands of years before the Constitution was written, and everyone knew what it was. The legalities of marriage, such as marriage licenses and the like, are products of the twentieth century, and were created to protect an existing institution.

i am just saying i should be able to as a usa citzen marry whom i choose and bring them here as long as they are not a criminal or threat to anyone and am upset i jumped through govermental hoops and the best they could come up with was my age

If u do not have a lawyer, get one and see where u go from here.

then the question was never posed.

or

your husband NEVER, EVER interviewed for a K-3 visa; instead, interviewing for a CR-1/IR-1 visa.

If that's the case, the I-130 would no longer be at NVC.

If he interviewed for a K-3, instead, then the I-130 MIGHT be at NVC.

My apologies for my confusion, I really need hard data to be able to help you.

So, I'm out. Good Luck with whatever yer doing.
