I have heard that you can involve your Senator or Congressman & try to get a second interview. That would be the first step.Tell them all the evidence you presented and why he findings are unjust. I am terribly sorry that happened. You will be in our prayers.

Get in touch with your two US Senators and your district congressman as soon as possible. They will help you out.

Hi, My husband had his interview May 13th 2011. He wasn't given any type of denial slip at the interview. He was also told the paperwork was being sent back to USCIS. I contacted USCIS afterwards and was told to allow 180 days from the date they received the paperwork back which was June 29th. I have a date of December 29 as the 180th day. I am still waiting to hear from them. You will need to collect as much as you can to prove the relationship is bonafide. Western Union receipts, any accounts you and him are both on, phone logs, pictures of your wedding. verification on your visits with him. Any thing that you can use to verify the relationship. Be prepared to wait, we actually filed the petition Oct. 29th 2010 and are still waiting. Good luck.

Contact your Congressman before they send it back or you will have wait an additional 9 month process. Cos when it gets back here the USCIS will review it for 180 days (which is 6 months). and it will take about 2 months for it to find its way back to the U.S. And then wait a month for an appointment. So contact them NOW! I waited before I contacted my Congressman and mine was sent back before she could help me.

Hi Tochi,

Try as much as possible to contact your congressman or the senator of your district explain what has happened at the interview. Do it now before the petition returns to the United States or else you will be in for a long wait.

I know nothing about Nigeria photos,

but for China -

is useful to show photos of YOU with the family.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
