I-751 January 2012 Filers

Yesterday we received the approval letter and 2 text msgs from USCIS to let us know that USPS reported pickup the card and we should have it within 7 days.

To our dear fellow VSC Jan 2012 filers, we wishes you all the luck and hope you will receive your good news soon. For those can't check the on-line status, keep on checking and you may hit the great news in the very near future. This is just a pure luck that our case got approved, nothing special with our case so we will hold our celebration until all (or most) of us get the approval, OK? We are in this together.

btw, I read in the December VSC forum that someone received the approval letter but still the USCIS webpage shows there is no such a case! I guess it all depends on who is the officer!

From the date we received our biometric appointment letter until the date we saw Card Order Production, our case did not shown on-line at all, we call USCIS once, and their excused was .... some thing about security issue! Our thought was, they've misplayed our file again!!! They did with our AOS file!!!!!

Please let us know how long before your conditional green card expired had you filed the i-751?

My husband conditional GC expired on 4/23/2012, and we used

Thank you!!! I think I saw the ROC approval rates are slowing down. Is CSC and VSC centers close down or what? BTW, I finally convinced my husband to proceed with the Citizenship before I have the heart attack!!!

I checked the USCIS.gov website today and got a message saying...."On October 1, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283." The wife also received a letter in the mail saying "The restrictions have been lifted and the green card will arrive in 4 to 6 weeks." Finally after 9 months something has moved in the VSC. I will update when she gets her green card in hand ;)

Congrats...but are you in VSC OR CSC list? next to your name shows you are filing in CSC!
