Wow I haven't been on here in months. Quick update: we too are still waiting on any news/update from USCIS. Honestly I kind of forgot about the whole green card thing and it hit me today that I still haven't got mine. I think I will call them on Monday and see if they an tell me anything. The way this is going I will be applying for citizenship before I get GC!

FYI, November VSC 0% approval, December VSC 0% approval (here in ROC forum monthly thread)... You can relax at least 1 more month

I don't really know how else you can get the date of your husband's naturalization. I've heard that some people who need an actual copy of their naturalization document will need to submit an official request to USCIS by filling out Form N-565 with a filing fee of $345. http://www.uscis.gov...00045f3d6a1RCRD

Maybe you can start a new standalone topic in the main ROC forum, as in outside this thread, and see if other VJ members have some ideas. It's good though that you started filling out N-400 this early and you have a few months to find whatever is missing before you send your application over.

I think we only need to file one form, the N-400. The VJ N-400 guide says that we may also attach G-1145 (optional) so we'll likely get an email or a text message from USCIS once they receive our application.

It's still a mystery how USCIS really works. Nobody in this thread has posted any update in the past few days. We don't know if other January CSC filers got approved already and just didn't post here or what. Anyway, I think Menina might have better advice. She and her husband had an infopass appointment when they heard nothing from USCIS 60 days after their interview. Theirs was a different case but who knows if you could do the same.

VSC still hasn't started processing November 2011 applications as it seems.

Anyone have any updates? Given that I'm a VT filer, I don't expect to have a decision any time soon, but we found out a couple of weeks back I'm I'm having another baby in March. I hope the card comes before then haha!

Likewise; we could have filed our application in November but had to wait until January since the holidays were insane for me. Now I won't be surprised if we submit Naturalization papers before the green card arrives. Why would VSC even accept ROC applications when they're so behind?

I just wanted to let you all know that I haven't disappeared We have spent the past 2 weeks working on our RFE packet and we believe it's finally ready We are sending it off to CSC tomorrow via Express Mail Please keep us in your prayers! We are really trying to stay positive but it has been very stressful. At this point, we have gathered everything we possibly could and can only pray that it's enough.

Now I'm getting a little paranoid, having read your reason for an RFE. I sent a few things establishing communal residence (tax transcripts, credit card statements with both our names/addresses on them, cell phone bill with the same, joint bank statement with our address, investment account statement with our address) but because we live with my parents, I don't have any utility/lease statements. I really hope they don't drag this out *even longer* by asking for more evidence. Ugh.

We may have gone a little overboard - our RFE Response Packet ended up being about 2.5 inches thick (MUCH thicker than our original I-751 packet) but everyone said to send everything and that's what we're doing!

Thanks Fatima. I hope you can get this straightened out soon. I often wonder if the USCIS adjudicators have any idea how much stress they put us through.
