So... I just called USCIS and they told me that as of today, CSC is working on applications from December 16, 2011. We're still in the normal processing timeframe so we have another 20 days to wait before we can call to check on our application again.

I thought I remembered someone posting about the current CSC processing date as January 2012?

Probably because:

- You and the other poster, bingo2000, talked to different representatives who had dissimilar opinions/estimates. mellow.gif Do these agents know actual processing dates?

- The processing has slowed down to accommodate backlogs from the previous months.

Cheer up, Fatima. We'll still meet each other in the January 2013 N-400 thread. biggrin.gif Hopefully by then Los Angeles moves really fast.

Got my 10 year GC in the mail today. I was surprised to see it in a regular USPS envelop instead of the the usual USCIS envelop. I guess they want to to look as "normal" as possible. Approval date was July 03 :)

We shall discuss again for the naturalization process :P

25 January 2010: Concurrent filing of I-130, I-485, EAD and AP - sent via UPS overnight delivery to Chicago Lockbox

26 January 2010: Received by receptionist CHIBA at 8:30 AM/Received date on NOA

02 February 2010: Checked cashed/Notice date

05 February 2010: Received NOA's for I-130,I-485,I-131,I-130

13 February 2010: Received ASC Appointment Notice for Biometrics.

17 February 2010: Date of RFE for Federal Tax 1040/Received Text & Email confirmation

19 February 2010: Received RFE in mail

22 February 2010: Mailed Response to RFE via USPS Express mail

24 February 2010: Package delivered and received at Lee's Summit office

26 February 2010: Biometrics DONE/RFE Received-case processing resumed

17 March 2010: Email approval notifications - EAD & AP.

22 March 2010: Received AP by mail. Received interview schedule notice for 22 April.

22 April 2010: Greencard Approved :)

So... I just called USCIS and they told me that as of today, CSC is working on applications from December 16, 2011. We're still in the normal processing timeframe so we have another 20 days to wait before we can call to check on our application again.

I thought I remembered someone posting about the current CSC processing date as January 2012?

Im no expert but looking at the stats here on our very own thread CSC has started to process January but as Calypso said they have a backlog too that they are trying to clear. Looking at the other threads. CSC processing rate for SEPT, OCT, NOV, DEC is at 97%, 94%,77% and 67% respectively. So them saying December makes sense

Like like like ;) I hope they speed up, can't wait to have the 10 year GC in hand and Celebrate w my hubby ( just another excuse to take a little celebration trip lol)

Yey email and text update yesterday , gc approved & card production ordered!!!!!!!! HOORAH!!!!!!!!! Will let you all know when I have anything official in the mail!!! Very exciting :)

Got my 10 year GC in the mail today. I was surprised to see it in a regular USPS envelop instead of the the usual USCIS envelop. I guess they want to to look as "normal" as possible. Approval date was July 03 :)

We shall discuss again for the naturalization process :P

My 10-year Green Card just arrived today!!!

It's in a USPS Priority Mail envelope, not the ones that USCIS usually use to send notifications. I thought it was USPS confirming my change of address, and almost threw it in the junk mail!! laughing.gif

What a surprise! Because I did not receive any letter of approval, and was not called for an interview. My GC just showed up in my mail box, nearly 5 months after the biometrics.

finally I received the letter of approval, 6 days after the card.

The approval date was 6/26 instead of the expiration date 6/28 on the card. Just an update :)

01/13/2012 - I-751 application package mailed to CSC via USPS

01/14/2012 - Package delivered

01/19/2012 - $590 check cleared

01/20/2012 - NOA received, receipt dated 01/17/2012

01/24/2012 - Biometric appointment notice received - 2/10

02/10/2012 - Biometrics taken

07/05/2012 - Green Card arrived in mail! (No approval letter received prior to the card, no interview)

Done with USCIS until... well, next year, for N-400 :)

12/19/2012 - N-400 application mailed to Phoenix

12/21/2012 - Package delivered

12/31/2012 - NOA received

01/09/2013 - Biometric appointment notice received

01/17/2013 - Biometrics taken

02/19/2013 - Interview request letter received - interview scheduled on 03/21/2013

My husband's 10 year green card arrived today!! :dance:
