WOWW.I DID MY BIOMETRICS TODAY AT MY LOCAL USCIS OFFICE TODAY.THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR.I HAVE TO WAIT FOR 50 MINUTES AND THE ACTUAL BIOMETRICS TOOK ABOUT 10 MINUTES...WISH ALL JANUARY FILERS ALL THE BEST OF LUCK.. :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Hey Everyone :-)

My hubby starts training for his job tomorrow and so he didn't want to have to take time off already for his biometric appt next week, so...we went today and they allowed him to do it. :dance:

We were worried he would be turned away. They told us they don't usually do that but since they weren't very busy (There was two other people in there) they said they would take him. About 10 minutes after getting there a bum-rush of people showed up. By then he was already getting bio done.

So anyhow...now we wait for the next few months. Oh what fun!

I sent my documents on January 20 and received my NOA1 on January 25.

I did my Biometrics on Feb 24.

Now we wait.

One of the reasons I haven't been online is because my hubby got me a new laptop and I've been setting it up. I've also been doing a little early spring cleaning LOL - we had 2 snow storms and haven't gone out since then but the snow is finally melting!!! Yay!

I did my biometric today! I had an appointment at 1PM at my local ASC. I arrived there around 12:30PM and left at 12:45PM took about 15 minutes. It was very quiet since they had moved to a new location. 10-12 people. Overall very quick process. Update please! :thumbs:

1st - I have a receipt number from my NOA and another one from my biometrics appt. None of them show any updates online and every time I search on the uscis site it tell me this case does no exist.

2nd - I travel internationally a lot for work and my company is concerned about my status considering they have to send me to Malaysia and Dubai next month. Any advice on how to get the I-551 stamped? Should I get an INFOPASS to have some of my questions answered?

Day 10 - 3-Feb biometric notice

Day 31 - 24-Feb biometrics taken

Day 44 - 8-Mar CG expired

Hi everyone,

So..I just received a letter today from uscis for an interview on march 21. The letter says to bring my spouse with me plus original and copy of all the other docs we have submitted before. I am really so stressed out about this:( Menina, did you receive a white piece of paper (as opposed to the usual green notice of action paper that they send us?). Just curious if that is the standard thing they do for a request for interview or am I being singled out for something..i dont know, like i said, this whole process is just stressful. I would appreciate any feedback or tips from you guys. thank you very much:)
