finally got my biometric done today, it took me 5 minutes to get over with it, and yes i got there one hour early and still the guard agent let me in as soon as i walked in even i saw lot of peoples were waiting there , but im sure they were for something else.

now we will wait and hope that we wont face any problems

HOORAH ASC arrived!!!!!!!! :) yey! Date on letter is 2/13 and my appointment date is 3/12!!!!!!

Phew, I can relax a bit now and enjoy Jon's birthday this weekend!!!!!!!!!

Hi fellow January filers-

I posted a new topic regarding this, but I wanted to check with you as well. I just got a letter today from our local office calling us for an interview on March 1st. It says we will be videotaped and to bring originals and copies of evidence of our martial union from the date of filing to present. I am freaking out! I have never heard of getting an interview so fast after filing, and I don't know what further evidence we could provide since so little time has passed since filing. We had an AOS interview that went fine 2 years ago, so I don't know why we would be chosen again. Please help!

I posted a new topic regarding this, but I wanted to check with you as well. I just got a letter today from our local office calling us for an interview on March 1st. It says we will be videotaped and to bring originals and copies of evidence of our martial union from the date of filing to present. I am freaking out! I have never heard of getting an interview so fast after filing, and I don't know what further evidence we could provide since so little time has passed since filing. We had an AOS interview that went fine 2 years ago, so I don't know why we would be chosen again. Please help!

Did you verify if the local office is legit? If it is, then you may just be lucky to have a chance to nail your I-751 approval less than 2 months from filing.

I noticed that a few applicants in the September 2011 ROC thread got approved by CSC less than 2-3 months after filing. I didn't check whether or not they had interviews though.

Btw, did your case status change online, too?

Did you once set up mobile and email alerts through the USCIS website and received notifications for this interview other than the actual mail?

This could be good, because you can probably get approved right there ...lets look at it from the positive side :) we are here to support you. If they interviewing people is what they are doing now, I would muh rather get interviewed and get it out of the way, nothing to worry about at the interview, im pretty sure it will go smooth :)

Thank you for the support. I did sign up for email and cell phone alerts but got nothing neither has my online status changed. The envelope has the USCIS pritned on it, but the letter is a photocopy with 2 hole punches in the top. We are going to the interview, and it if is not legit, they will tell us, I am sure. I read somewhere that they are doing more ROC interviews now, so maybe that is the norm. It seems like my local office does A LOT of interviews from what I hear. We also had our AOS interview there. Thanks for the help!

Biometrics done Friday - it was the same agent that helped us get Lars' AP expedited when first got married. She remembered us and we talked for a while. Glad to have it behind us. Now waiting to see what happens next...interview or not!

11/13/09 : APPROVED and visa in hand!!!

Hi visa journey friend, I have a question regarding on removing conditions did you filed this by your own guys? Coz i dont really want to hire again a lawyer its really expensive though.I want to make it sure i prepare right and hope no mistakes .. Do i really need to have bona fide evidence on our marriage for 2 years? It says on here that i read is its not actually required .As long u have some both names proof of evidence and its up to you if you want more proof. Does anyone could help me? Thanks and advance..
