No welcome letter yet? its been almost two weeks

does they use the address mentioned in the petition form I130 or the address used in NVC stage? USCIS does not change the address on the old petition since the petition is not pending but NVC has the latest address, do they use the address mentioned to NVC to send the welcome letter?

We got like 4 welcome letters. Don't worry if you don't ever get one - as long as you get your SSN & GC, you're good to go.

Hullo Raj.

Assume, for the moment, that all of the address changes put in, didn't take.

Just for the moment, aye?

Call in to USCIS, get an ISO, Tier 2 Human,

and then

confirm the address that's stored in their computer system. They can't tell you what they use, but they can confirm that what you tell them matches what is stored or NOT matches what is stored.

Also - Ask if they have any record of anything being mailed out, ask them if they used the address where you slept last night.

IF they cannot confirm yer address for any reason, well, crud.

Call back in 4 weeks, the green card would have been returned by then, then ask for an ISO again, ask the ISO to resend all postal mail to the new address.
