when the petitioner has forgotten to send an affidavit with the Form I-130

hi everybody,

the problem is that my wife has forgotten to send the Affidavit of her mom with the I-130 in the mail. and now she received the NOA1 by email and by SMS by phone, so can she send it to the USCIS or she can't do anything now about that affidavit ?

she sent some affidavits of her cousins and of her friends but not of her family, the only affidavit she has is the one of her mom and she has forgotten to send it. so what can she do now ? or it doesn't matter and just jet it till the interview and then we can bring it with us ?

Don't send anything unless you get RFE.

Just prepare these family affidavit for interview.

Don;t worry about that or send anything in if they aren't asking for it. If there's more affidavits, bring to the interview with all of the other evidence.

As iwaiting already said, don't bother sending it to USCIS at this point, it won't get matched with the file. All other posters has said bring it to the interview and I agree with that. However, if you want the affidavit to be in the file to be reviewed by a CO prior to the interview taking place, the affidavit can be sent to the NVC with the DS-230 and accompanying documents. Be aware that by sending items to the NVC that are not asked for, processing of the file at the NVC will likely take longer than it ordinarily would have been.
