Merry Christmas everyone! Today is indeed a happy day for me and my fiance because of this:

On December 19, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

This is the best early christmas gift we received ever. Thank you Lord for this blessing. Hope really springs eternal.

Now, can someone please tell me what will be my next step? I am just so overwhelmed that my mind went blank now, lol.

08-30-2011 - AOS/EAD packet sent

09-12-2011 - NOA1 for AOS/EAD with 09-08 notice date

10-11-2011 - Biometrics appointment (appointment letter received on 09/19)

11-03-2011 - EAD card production request

11-14-2011 - EAD in the mail

12-08-2011 - Interview date (e-mail notification date 11/08) APPROVED!

12-13-2011 - Card production ordered

12-14-2011 - Card mailed to our address

12-17-2011 - Got gc in the mailbox! Valid until 12/13/2013 <wonderful christmas gift>

**No more USCIS for two years**

To-Do List::

1. Get your MNL case number from the NVC.

2. Send your sweetheart your I-134 and it's accompanying documents, as well as more proof of an ongoing relationship, and an updated letter of intent to marry.

3. Make an interview appointment.

4. Complete the medical.

5. Pass the interview and wait for the visa to arrive.

6. Complete the CFO seminar and get a CFO sticker in the passport.

7. Buy plane tickets.
