Which one is my service center?

Ok, obvious question, sorry in advance, but I'm sure it has a quick and easy answer. How do you know which service center is the one processing your application? Assuming that since I live in California and the CSC is listed as the USCIS office address at the bottom of my NOA1, I can be confident that the CSC is my service center regardless of the fact that I sent the initial I-129F application to Lewisville, Texas. Just trying to be prepared as it sounds like CSC is taking a bit longer than the processing time claims... Thanks for humoring me!

Correct. Based on your NOA1 presently your file is at CSC.

Hi! We have a similar timeline and fiance country! :) Good luck with everything!

In answer to your question, what I've read so far is that the Texas Service Center is just the one centralized location where documents are sent and the payments are processed. Once Texas verifies that everything is included (or more likely, that the check is included for the right amount), they cash the check and then forward the submission to either California or Vermont. The Service Center listed at the bottom of your NOA1 is the location where they sent it to. Your case number will also say WAC to represent the West Coast. I live in Chicago and mine was sent to California as well, so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with where you live.

Just as a FYI--a couple of years ago before they set up the TX Lockbox for the K1 petitions, we mailed directly to either CSC or VSC. I wonder if they still tend to get divided up by the same geographic regions, with a little shifting when needed to balance the loads.

That is very interesting. I had no idea there was a breakdown by state like that.
