I am now confused on what to do.My fiance and i just got married this 17th of november this year, since we are married we are now trying to file for change of status here in the U.S...the only questions that's been bothering us is the medical procedure...I am not sure if I need to get a civil surgeon to do the examination, vacination. Etc. before we send the whole papers to the USCIS? or well just send the vacination record along with the X Ray result to them without going to the Civil Surgeon.?please help...What is the best thing to do?:-(

you can just send the vaccine sheet from St. Lukes....xray cd is not needed, but you'll be taking the risk of getting RFE for a CS or find a CS near you and tell them that you only need transcription of her vaccine. every state's CS has their own req but mostly if you insist that thats all she need and show a print out from the instruction of i693 page saying she doesnt need a full medical if her foreign medical is within a year.

Congratulations!

The best thing to do is to go to a civil surgeon and have them complete the vaccination part ONLY since you had the medical exam in the Philippines (assuming it is still valid). Make sure that this is understood by the doctor since it will cost more to have the whole medical exam again. For my vaccination transcription, it cost me $30 (cost varies per CS). Check the I-693 instructions: USCIS Form I-693.

Just got done with my AOS this month.

It's $1070. The $1490 is if you were also filing an I-130, which K1's don't (unless they marry after day 90 or file more than 2 years after marriage).
