Hello everyone! If we will bring few bottles of scotch whiskies to the Philippines, would custom charge taxes? Or will they not take them from us? My husband and I are going home and we would bring few bottles of whiskies as we found some good sale prices here. Thanks!

I didn't have any problem. :no:

One trip, I brought 2 fifths of Macallan and 2 fifths of Glenlivet...no prob... except... too many people wanted to share. :P

Thank you! I'm sure too many people wanted to share...lol! We are bringing a 2-liter Black Label, 1 liter of Red Label, 2 bottles of 1 liter Glenffidich, a liter of Glenlivet, and a liter of Cognac. I'm scared customs will take them away. I wonder if there is a limit on how much you can bring in to Philippines.

You're welcome.

I wouldn't worry about customs. :no:

I would be concerned about;

1) Make sure the bottles are not broken in transit. Solution = bubble wrap.

2) Stay under (per bag) allowable weight. Solution = don't pack all in one suitcase. Spread 'em out.

3) Don't become the property an airline employee. Solution = lock the luggage.

Good luck and always remember.... drink responsibly. :)
