Who knew that being approved for fiancee visa will not be the end of all the pain? My fiancee had her interview on November 15 and was approved....after more than a month waiting on a reply back to send her the passport with the visa, we get notified that her case is still pending because she needs to re-submit the fingerprints. She traveled to Cairo for the interview and fingerprints costing us $300....now she has to do it all over again when they could have just corrected it at the spot. She can't even travel back to Cairo until they send her the passport back. All of this is after sending her interview notification 6 days after the interview date the first time, and sending the second notice telling her she has to travel to Cairo for interview given one day notice. This embassy is so corrupt, negligent, and incompetent that I do not even know what to do anymore. Any ideas....help.....advice?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
