Hi guys,

I had my interview recentely and they didnt ask me for the I-156k form either for the letter of intent with a recently date from my fiance, they also gave me back my police records and kept the other 2, anyone knows what the envelope that they give you with the passport contains? the one that you have to present at the POE? I am afraid that one of these doccuments is required there and as they do not have it it wont be there, thank you!

*10-14-2011 --- NOA2!!! Yeeeeeeee!!!!

*10-19-2011 --- Hardcopy of NOA2 :)!!

*10-24-2011 --- NVC Received (no case number assigned yet)

*10-26-2011 --- NVC case number assigned :)

*10-28-2011 --- NVC sent to the embassy :)

*10-31-2011 --- Embassy receives package!!! :)

*12-05-2011 --- Medical! _____DONE AND PASSED!!! :)

*12-19-2011 --- Interview!!! :)!! APPROVED!!! WOOOHOOO!!!

*12-29-2011 --- Visa in hand! :D

*12-30-2011 --- POE Newark!! Finally with mi amor!

DO NOT OPEN THE PACKET WITH THE CUT CORNER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. If a document is missing you will be notified by the consulate before the packet is sent to you!

They gave you back your police records?? That's weird, they kept mine. Did you bring copies with you and they kept the copies maybe??

10-24-2012: AOS, EAD, AP Sent

11-04-2012: NOA1 AOS, EAD, AP

11-06-2012: Biometrics App Letter

11-16-2012: My baby boy was born

11-19-2012: Biometrics Appointment

12-29-2012: AP Approved

01-04-2013: EAD Approved

01-10-2013: Combo Card Arrived

Nop, they didnt ask for the DS156k, just for the DS156, when i gave them the 3 records, they gave me back one, the police records ( antecedentes policiales) and they didnt ask me for the letter of intent.

Well, they didn't ask for my letter either, so that doesn't matter that much, 'cause when you sign he ds-156 you made an oath to marry and blah blah... but is weird they give you back you policiales. Have you tried calling and asking about this? maybe they're doing it different now, but idk

What ever happens do no open the brown package. I had my wife bring all her records in person with her envelope so we had everything. They never asked for anything except the passport with the visa and envelope.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
