After spending time together, we exchanged phone numbers and arranged to meet up again when we realized that we had strong feelings for another. Upon his return to London we stayed in touch via the internet in between visits. He has made 5 trips since we met and I have made 2 to London.

More than twice as much as I wrote. It is plenty. I used two sentences to descibe our initial meeting (i met Alla in person by coincidence) that is all. Byt the time we filed the petition I had visited her 4 more times, but I did not mention those trips for the petition at all. I did bring evidence of those trips to the interview.

I would change "another" for "each other". If not, it sounds like you had feelings for someone else! Other than that, it sounds fine!
