What docs will the embassy ask for when AP is complete? Is both medical and police good for one year? What about a new ds230 and more paystubs to show im still working? any thing would be helpful to at least know what things we should be ready to handle once they finally give us teh word our ap is complete

We got a checklist of things from the CO, new medical (only good 6 months in Phils) , and a new police clearance. That was before the 2 month delay. For the proactive we'll be sending the 2011 tax returns, recent pay stubs, on going conversations and transactions between us, and such. Best of luck and I hope your wait is a short one. It already is shorter by 1 day, and everyday here after! Best wishes!!

Thanks... :( im really hating this right now... wonder if we also should do the tax return and paystubs...

If they ask for a new police certificate, it would make me wonder what they do in AP/AR for all those months.

LOL that's sooo true especially what they are putting us thru right now...

My wife and I are waiting for an I-601 to be processed at USCIS in Panama, so unless we hear something three months sooner than expected, my wife's medical exam will be expired. She needed a new police certificate in June to turn the waiver in, and in Colombia they are good for one year. I will have a new I-864 for my wife, and have her bring a new DS-230, and G-325's for good luck

I can't find it now but I read somewhere that the i864 doesn't expire but may need to bring only supporting documents. I know our medical is good until May. Not sure about the pcc. I think it was 6 months but it seems our embassy doesn't require another one unless the medical needs updating too and of cos the ds230. I'm praying hard that we won't have to go down that road .. been stalled for 6 months in ap already due to his country praying it won't be too much longer.

To make your life more difficult, they might ask for a new police certificate at the time AP is completed. I am not sure how long the medical report stays valid for but usually a police certificate expires in 3 months or so.

I don't think they ask for PCC again..never heard about getting PCC again. it's a real pain in #### to get one in my country ;(
