I was just wondering if I filed the K-1 for my fiance this year in November but the Embassy does not receive the petition until next year will I need to send 2008,2009, and 2010 tax transcripts or will I need to send 2009,2010, and 2011. I guess basically I'm asking is it based on the filing date of the petition or when it is received by the embassy? Thanks for any advice...

At the interview you will need your 2011 taxes if your interview is April. I have heard embassy ask for taxes in March and one self employeed person at the end of January.

So, if your interview is in Jan or Feb then no you will not need.

If your interview is in March and your income is questionable then you will need them.

If your interview is in the end April then the embassy will expect taxes

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!
