and the guide for filling out the i-129f packet says i need a copy of the transfer notice

are you 100% sure you want to do the K-3?

Have you looked at the comparison chart and seen that it costs MORE money than just staying with the I-130 for CR-1? The K-3 also does not get you a green card on entry, you have to file and apply for it waiting more time where as the CR-1 gets you a green card ON entry?

http://www.visajourney.com/content/compare

The K-3 will cost you $760 more than a CR-1.

Can also take longer than a CR-1

Check the link.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

i have already sent in the i-130 for the k-3 can i change it now?

You sent the I-130. Refrain from filing the I-129F and you continue on the CR1 path. K3 hasn't saved any time for 5 years. Anything that tells you otherwise is 5 years out of date.

I would not submit the I-129F and leave the I-130 you submitted alone so that you go the CR1 route. I did the K3 but now i wish i had gone CR1 because that's what everyone is doing and seems to be not any slower than K3. Maybe similar waiting period.

There are other benefits to CR1 but can't remember right now, something about not having to do Adjustments of Status when beneficiary arrives here in US.

I'm still waiting for K3 NOA2 since Aug 2011.

But its up to you. Good Luck
