Hi VJ'ers,

Hope everyone is keeping positive and having time to enjoy the upcoming holidays, I know it is hard for those of us who are now away from friends and family but we now are with our true loved ones!!!!

I tracked my package with US postal service and my AOS/EAD/AP package was rec'd Dec. 15 (we sent it Dec 13 express mail) but we haven't rec'd any type of email or text confirming receipt, just be patient?

HAPPY HOLIDAY EVERYONE, ESPECIALLY TO ALL THOSE VJ'S WHO RUN AND TAKE CARE OF THIS SITE...YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!

Its been 3 days. Be patient.

Watch for the payment to be cashed. Don't expect notifications, not everyone gets them.

Hi Betty

We didn't get any notifications until we actually got the hard copies in the mail. We couldn't even view anything on the USCIS site until after the EAD and AP were approved....Our AOS we had no idea about until we got the letter in the mail about the interview in Norfolk. So don't fret.....You will receive the NOA's in the mail (all 3 in separate envelopes) . Then you will receive a notice for your biometrics appointment. You just need your passport and your marriage certificate since you changed your name on the forms.

I will be home tomorrow if you want to call me....The earlier the better for me.

Sent AOS pack......2011-08-08

NOA's dated ..........2011-08-15

Biometrics..............2011-09-13

EAD card.................2011-10-26

AP card....................2011-10-26

AOS approved .......2011-12-19

Green card rec.......2011-12-27

We got the text message after 12 days and got the 3 noas on the mail after 16 days from the day we sent the packet. Just be patient. This is probably normal bcoz of the holidays.

Mine was rec'd the 10th and I haven't gotten anything. With the NOAs from the I-129f petition, it took around 10 days each time from USCIS until it reached the mailbox here. I'll give it a little time before worrying or thinking too much about it. It's the season for lots of mail so yes, patience won't hurt you. : )

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

Click timeline or "about me" for all details.

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days
