Spanish sentence on Marriage certificate thats not written correctly!

at the bottom of my marriage certificate, the judge wrote in his own writing the following,

" LEIDO EL ACTO, LO FIRMAN CONMIGO LOS ESPOSOS Y LOS TESTIGOS". I think that sentence is incorrect. Souldn't it say "He leido el acto , y lo firman conmigo los esposos y testigos? that way in english translation it can say " I have read the act, the spouses and witnesses witll sign with me? even though it doesnt make sence?

Also Do i have to translate the stamps? when we got married they placed a stamp on the form

Well, our marriage certificate is of Peru, they mispelled my surname. I had to go to the municipalidad to get it corrected; however, in your case, I think a certified translator would make sense out of it. My certified translator also translated the agency that the stamps were from...but not necessarily the entirety of what the stamps said.

As you should know, you ought to translate the document in a way that it makes sense. Translating literally word by word could produce a document that is difficult to read in English. I would translate that line something like this: Upon reading the act, the spouses and witnesses proceed to sign it with me.

The language on formal documents will read a little differently, it's the same in English.

The first marriage certificate we got said my husband was female
