Booo! received a text that I got an RFE. Yeay....USCIS is finally working on my case. I am waiting anxiously for the fuss about. It is better not be a lost medical.

Well, RFE is at least a little something. You're the one who started this topic, right? :) It's been a loooong time waiting!

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

Well, RFE is at least a little something. You're the one who started this topic, right? :) It's been a loooong time waiting!

I am waiting anxiously to find out what's the RFE about. Actually, it was Eddie who started the thread. Lucky him, he got the GC is less than 4 months. There is movement and progress so I am trying to be happy about it rather than moping. :whistle:

You know, I continue to question what in the world they are doing in California. We received Thomas' GC yesterday along with the paper NOA stating we received approval (blah blah blah), card within 30 days (but we got 2 envelopes from USCIS, one containing the NOA, the other with GC and "Welcome to the US" letter. Today get another letter (NOA) saying we've been approved and card is in production, we should receive it in 30 days. They can't even get their own process in the right order!

Total elapsed time between filing I-129F to GC in hand 569 days or 1 Year, 6 months, 22 days.

Wow, somebody messed up. The best news is your GC arrived safely :)

Are they still December fillers who has not been approved beside Khymster, Stefaan and me? Who else are still waiting?

Yes, RandyN is still pending too. They got an RFE for the medicals. USCIS lost their medical packet so they had to redo them.

You know...it's been a long (almost) 2 years since initial filing. I almost think we would have been better off to just do the CR-1. :bonk:
