Hi,

I filed my K1 a little over 2 months ago and I received the NOA 1 within 5 days of filing it. So it has been over 2 months since NOA1 but every time I use the case number to check the status, it says case not found.

I called up the USCIS office when I got the NOA1 in mail and at that time they said that their online tracking system was not working and they were working on getting it fixed. Does anyone know if this is working or broken. My NOA1 date was Oct. 17, 2011

Date engaged: Sep 05, 2011

Date filed for I-129F: Oct 04, 2011

NOA1 (Text/E-mail): Oct 11, 2011

Notice Date on NOA1: Oct 07, 2011

NO RFE -

NOA2 (Online status): Mar 06, 2012 (147 days from NOA1)

NOA2 (Letter): Mar 09, 2012

--------------------------------------------------------------

NVC Received: 03/22/2012

Letter from NVC: 03/26/2012

Consulate Received: 03/28/2012

Packet 3 Received: 03/31/2012

Packet 3 Returned: 04/02/2012

Not everyone can check their case status online.

Some people can after a very long time and some never can. Its luck of the draw. Regardless you cannot count on the system because it is not always updated or its incorrectly updated. Wait for the physical notices in the mail or call USCIS to ask for case status updates.
