how to get Immigration Officer on the Telephone, in Islamabad? (I not mean a pakistani clerk, either)

Thanks Faisal. FWIW, if anyone offers you a job in SG, you should go. Move heaven and earth to get the passport back in your hands.

Exactly you cannot just go to the embassy and request your passport back. Maybe the prepaid envelope would work. Trying to get a hold of an immigration officer is pretty much impossible. I think I got a hold of one once in the 50 times I have called, and even then he couldn't help me because they are not allowed to discuss your case with you over the phone really.

Please let me know if they ever returned your passport. I am trying to get my husbands back but they won't give it to him. We were going to move to Dubai until the AP is sorted out.

Yahoo i got my passport for dubai trip and here is the reply i got

To have your passport write Email Subject: "Return Passport" and send it to "PakIVQuery@state.gov" then will send you back in a week

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please note that we have returned your passport today by american express courier service.

I got my passport they returned after 1 week after i sent them passport request email. I went dubai with my wife enjoyed a lot.

Now i am planning to move Dubai untill AP gets over.

I went Dubai while in AP informed embassy about my move and told them my new address which i arrived there. After 2 months of my arrival embassy contacted me and asked me to come back and submit my passport, i did got stamped on my passport and now in U.S

Interview : 09-09-2010 Result :Administrative Processing

In december 2010 priority dates retrogessed and wait priority date current again in

MARCH 2012 2nd

Medical submit :07 March 2012 Result :Administrative Processing

3rd Medical submit :28th Feb 2013 Result Administrative Processing

4th Medical submit :26th Feb 2014 Result :Got email reply from embassy that they will call me for finger prints and oath ..and still waiting Got call for finger prints and oath

on 12th MAY Went for finger prints and oath :21th May Result :ApprovedVisa Issued :22.05.2014

 

visa Issued Today after 3 years 8 months and 13 days

Green Card fee paid : 05/06/2014

Poe :17/06/2014

Ssn Received :27-06-2014

Green Card Produced and Mailed :07/22/2014

Got 10 YEAR Green Card :25/07/2014
