Cairo, Egypt has updated their interview schedule online.

I do not see any K1 interviews.

Did any fiance applicants get interviews for January?

Also, I found my NVC number but it is not listed as Egypt. It is listed as SARB.

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

There are only 2 K1 scheduled. I just don't understand why they are ignoring the K1's now. Its very frustrating

Call, call and keep on calling. That's what I did and that's how I got an interview. Someone had canceled minutes before, thanks to the revolution and the lady gave us that spot.

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.

Did u call from the US or from Egypt? Do you have a number that I can call from the US? My fiancee had tried to call a few time from egypt and she never get anyone to answer and whenever someone answer, they told her they have no information.

011-20-2-2797-2200 Press 1 and then 1 again. Only call from Sun-Thur from 1-3 pm Egypt time (6-9 am EST)

I call from New York. You must let it ring and ring until someone answers. They will answer, even after 20-30 minutes. So, if you can't afford the call, email them. The issue with emails is they take long to respond.

I can afford the call but not sure I can afford the wait.

I did email them a few time and usually get the generic answers that gives nothing but more frustrations.. Thanks

This is an unfortunate situation because is costly and frustrating at the same time. You can afford the wait. Everything will be ok. The best you can do is call and call and call. Then, enjoy yourself a little.

What do you use to call egypt? I use rebtel and it charge around 12c a minute and the quality is great. I used a cheaper company before that used to be great but now sucks..
