Hey all, just really curious. Does anyone know what to expect as a beneficiary of an Ir2 petition. I have been to the first interview and was asked to start the dna process. My dad has gone for it in the states and my kit shd be in the consulate next week. Wanna know if there will be more asked of me after the dna link is confirmed positive. Will i still be subjected to further questioning or will it just be like a walk in the park. Any info or personal experience will be appreciated.

Thanks all, really been very helpful. Thing is at my initial interview i presented all the proof i had of relationship with my dad and after seeing my stuff the CO still asked for the dna tingy. In other words i will still be presenting same stuffs if am asked for further proof buh i was expecting that the dna superceeds all other proof, more like seals the deal in terms if proving relationship. You think?

Some countries are known for trying to sneak people in as their children. In these places the embassy uses DNA to weed out frauds. Keep your evidence of the relationship with you if you are called back, they may just choose to accept the DNA and issue a vusa without another interview. The DNA has uncovered maritial indiscressions that even the petitioner hasn't be aware of.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
