F1- Request for Choice of Agent, AOS.

So we just received request for COA & AOS fee on an F1 case with PD 2007.... Are they just collecting money from us? My other bro (f2b) had his case completed going to a year now without invite for interview. Unless a BIG impending move is coming up on VB next yr, 2012, I am not too excited by this request.

You should call NVC. Ask them if your PD of 2007 is soon going to be current because you received the COA & AOS request.

F1 priority date is 15OCT04. The only way to say your priority might be current soon is when you receive an interview date. Other than that, it's just paperwork they are doing.

F1 priority date is 15OCT04. The only way to say your priority might be current soon is when you receive an interview date. Other than that, it's just paperwork they are doing.

I thought as much, Just venting! When is the correction going to come (post retro)???? :unsure:

Soon doesn't mean within a few days. But when you receive Choice of Agent request (which is the 1st requirement) it means that your case is expected to be current within 90 days (or up to 6 months).

I still think you should call NVC and ask the reason for the AOS coz if you don't respond to their request they might cancel your application.
