Traveling within US on Tourist Visa?

My boyfriend has always come to visit me in the DC area and left. Next May 2012, my son has a graduation ceremony in Texas and I would like to take my boyfriend with me to meet all of my family back home in Texas. So my question is, can he fly into DC and travel to Texas with me while on a tourist visa? Would there be any problems with TSA questioning us about traveling? We just want to take a few days, go to Texas and come back to DC before he leaves back to Haiti. Any advice would be appreciated.

A valid visa is not a guarentee of admittance, you might want to advise your boyfriend to travel with strong ties to Haiti.

Good luck

CanadianWife, he has traveled here twice already with no problems. So having ties to Haiti isn't the issue. He plans on going back at that time as we have not yet filed a K-1 or anything. My question was that once he is here in DC with me, can we travel to Texas for my sons graduation and for him to meet my family.

Thanks to the other poster for their response. We just want to be able to travel to Texas and back to DC before he leaves back to Haiti.

Once your partner has landed at his point of entry he will get his I-94 in his passport. He has then cleared immigration. Internal flights are not subject to immigration clearance on landing / departure. Even if you travel out to texas a few days later you just turn up at the airport exactly as the USC would and travel together.
